By the title of the article, you might not suspect that any ring, let alone a tungsten ring, could be compared to a nightmare. After all, Triton tungsten is only an case of jewelry so how could such an item possibly be so gruesome? Perhaps gruesome isn\’t the word but one encounter with tungsten carbide is all that it takes for a person to become totally appalled. How can such a substance be turned away? The evidence is clear and it really begins at the point you shop for a ring.

Tungsten carbide is purportedly one of the strongest materials utilized in the creation of wedding rings. When you have this knowledge in mind, you\’d think that a tungsten ring would be a great wager. After all, you want your wedding ring to last forever and if Triton tungsten is available, why should you even consider any other option? Be warned, though, that just because a material is dense does not mean that it\’s heavy-duty. On the contrary, tungsten is one of the easiest materials to break.

Examining this piece, you might not believe that such a ring can be prone to breakage. However, be certain that it can happen and if you want proof, there\’s no proof greater than on the Internet. I was amazed when I performed a search on YouTube in order to learn about these rings. I saw one video in particular that had a small child break a ring with a hammer in her delicate grip. When a small child, with reduced strength, is able to cause a wedding band to shatter, it should be enough of an indication to steer clear from tungsten as much as possible.

Let\’s apply a tungsten ring to a fictional idea, for instance. Since my specialty seems to be in the realm of video games, let\’s look into one of my favorite series, \”The Legend of Zelda.\” Link, our good guy, was able to save the day once more from the villainous Ganondorf. He is ready to propose to Princess Zelda, who he was able to save for what looks to be the twelve hundredth time. Link, proficient with a sword but unaware with jewelry, presents Zelda with a tungsten band which breaks upon impact. I\’m sure our elf-like hero would be booted out of the castle quickly.

You might smirk or chuckle at the idea of Zelda characters using a tungsten rings but the point remains. Tungsten, as a whole, simply doesn\’t come advocated. The rings are not durable by any stretch and it\’s funny, though not in the clownish sense, because tungsten claims to be durable and able to last forever. After several encounters with these rings, I can safely say that this is not the case and couples would be wise to look elsewhere before their big day arrives.
